The Lorain International Festival is proud to announce that LorMet Community Credit Union has signed on as our International sponsor for the next three festival seasons. The partnership will support our annual festival, held the last full weekend of June each year!

Since 1936, LorMet Community Credit Union has proudly grown alongside the resilient individuals and families of Lorain County. LorMet was originally chartered to serve the hardworking steel mill employees at the heart of Lorain’s industrial boom. The mill not only shaped the region’s economy but also helped forge the rich cultural diversity that continues to define Lorain County today.

Nearly nine decades later, LorMet has evolved into the leading lender in Lorain County while staying true to its community-first mission. As a member-owned financial cooperative, LorMet now serves over 21,000 members and manages more than $260 million in assets. Its field of membership extends throughout Lorain County as well as into Bay Village, Rocky River, and Westlake, Ohio.

“As we look to the future, LorMet remains deeply committed to honoring the heritage of the community it calls home—because it’s our history, too. For decades, the Lorain International Festival has stood as a premier celebration of our community’s rich cultural diversity and heritage. We’re honored to support this longstanding tradition and proud to help share the vibrant story of Lorain with new generations.” – Daniel Cwalina, President/CEO of LorMet Community Credit Union
