Savannah Jack

Time: 8:00pm - 11:00pm

Savannah Jack is back!

From playing honky-tonks on lower Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee to opening arena and large festival dates for Peter Frampton, John Fogerty, Vince Gill, The Doobie Brothers and the legendary Kenny Rogers, among others, Savannah Jack has honed their skills as outstanding live entertainers who captivate audiences from the very first note. The band’s extraordinary three-part vocal harmonies, superior musicianship, and their ability to interact with audiences at an extremely high and personal level allow them to modify their shows to fit nightclubs, casinos, fairs/festivals, corporate events, and private shows equally well. Their high energy performances can range anywhere from a 45 minute opening set to a heart pounding, non-stop, 3 hour show which will literally have people dancing on their tables.

How do you describe this country/classic rock band from Nashville, Tennessee? Joe Guercio, Elvis Presley’s longtime music and orchestra director, calls Savannah Jack “the absolute best band I’ve seen in country music today… the Alabama of the 21st century.” Savannah Jack, comprised of Don Gatlin, Jay Darby, Matt Schumacher, Matt Crouse and Colin Whinnery, is the preferred opening act for the legendary Kenny Rogers, having performed onstage with him in excess of 60 shows during the past two years, to include a 21 city tour of England, Scotland, and Ireland in the spring of 2009. Savannah Jack brings a highly entertaining and energetic show to the stage, commanding standing ovations night after night at virtually every venue in which they perform.

Exceptional songwriters as well as versatile musicians, all three members infuse their individual style to collectively create Savannah Jack’s unique sound. In addition to performing original songs that they have written for major country artists, Savannah Jack also plays a wide range of cover tunes from several decades, to include dynamic medleys of the Eagles, Alabama, and other artists in the country, southern, and classic rock genres. In fact, the band has just recently created a unique and engaging show called “Savannah Jack … a musical tribute to legendary super groups”. This 2 hour musical journey begins with excellent renditions of selected Beatle tunes and continues on through time to cover classic songs by various Motown artists, The Beach Boys, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Eagles, The Steve Miller Band, Alabama, Journey, Restless Heart, and several other notable artists of the past. Jackie Pinto, entertainment buyer for the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, has this to say about Savannah Jack; “We have had Savannah Jack play at the Tropicana several times and they absolutely rock the house. They are great guys and one of our favorite bands that we book here… period!”
