From McGuffey Lanes first shows 25 years ago, to their time recording for Atlantic Records, one thing has remained constant. Their fans knew that they could always count on an energetic, entertaining, and fun-filled concert experience. And that remains true today.
A multi-cultural group of master musicians from several countries performing on authentic folk instruments, Harmonia presents the virtuosic and passionate traditional music of Eastern Europe.

The harmonic, rhythmic and tonal richness of Gypsy and village music from east of the Danube are channeled by this “musical gem” (National Public Radio). Featuring top soloists from Ukraine and Slovakia and with roots in Hungary and Croatia, this Cleveland-based ensemble includes violin, accordion, vocals, folk flutes and the 125-string hammered-dulcimer-like cimbalom (played by Alexander Fedoriouk, “a cimbalom supremo—prepare to be hammered” Songlines). Combining original and traditional music, Harmonia can “dig into melancholy sentiments, improvise expressively on traditional rubato forms and…plug into the energy and excitement of music from a rich variety of Eastern European traditions” (Cleveland Plain Dealer). From varied East-European backgrounds, the musicians find a common musical language in Harmonia.
Recent performances have included a week of concerts with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra as well as performances at Dartmouth and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Formed in 2000, Direct Energy set out to re-create the music of such legendary horn rock bands, such as Chicago, Blood, Sweat & Tears and the Blues Brothers, just to name a few. With their love for this music, the band puts their heart and soul into every performance, living up to their name. This nine piece band takes the audience on a musical journey through the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s. So, whether you’re in the mood to get out and “Dance to the Music”, or just sit back and enjoy a great show, maybe on a “Saturday in the Park” near you. You’ll be sure to go away tapping your feet, or humming one of your favorite songs that you probably haven’t heard in quite awhile.
Aquarius Rising is a 12 piece pop orchestra in full regalia, delivering a musical journey that you will want to join! Our multimedia show recreates an experience reminiscent of the changing sounds and sights of the psychedelic era. Starting with the elaborate studio productions of the late 1960’s and recreating them live on stage. Experience unique sounds of the “Summer of Love” through Aquarius Rising’s replication of the era’s ‘good vibrations’. Aquarius Rising’s live performances and productions are sure to leave crowds dancing in the streets regardless of their age.
